Who We Are
Owners, Elena & Gustavo, together with their family work hard to share with you the same traditional cuisine they were raised on. Elena is from a small Tuscan town called Forte dei Marmi, Italy. It was there where her love of food and cooking developed over 20 years ago. She has started her first business with the support of her husband Gustavo, since 2017 they are part of many farmer's markets in Marin and neighborhoods. They have extended their skills to the family and you will find the whole family, Elena, Gustavo, their mother Rossella, sister Maria Sole, or daughter Bianca running any one of the stands at your local farmer's market.
Now, in 2021, the family has decided to start something new, in the lovely Fairfax, where people can come visit them everyday and enjoy their food any time they want.
La Gastronomia
Gastronomia, from the Italian language, means delicatessen, deli. In Italy, you can easily find many of this kind of deli around the city. In there, people can easily walk in and grab something on the go. Some traditional products that you can find are bread, pizza, sandwiches, an pre-prepared food that you can bring home and enjoy with your family.
Locally Sourced
We understand what it means to be a part of a farmer's market. We not only provide a service for you, but also take advantage of the service ourselves. You will find that all of our ingredients are locally sourced by our neighbors in the markets. We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant so we make sure to choose fresh, local and organic ingredients at all times. We also offer vegetarian and gluten-free items for those who have special dietary restrictions.
